I have not been here in a while!

What has been going on?

Well, my wife and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary last week.  Time flies when you are having fun!

I know I haven't written in a while, I have been caught up in the business of my life! 

I will be starting school soon, I am very anxious about that! 

My house is finallly being built, finally!  My wife and I are anxious to have our own place again.

There is not much else going on.  Just work, life, the house, and that's about it.

I dont have much to talk about.  There isn't much going on in my life now.  Just work.  That's about it.  My house is going to start next week.  I am anxious because I want to have my own place with  my wife and child (Ellie, the dog).  I am also looking forward to having my own room to decorate.  That's right guys, I got my own room.  It's my "play" room.  I will have a TV and my Gamecube there.  And a couch.  I will also have all my collection of Diecast model cars.  I got a shelf for it yesterday.  I have plenty of cars for it, but I think I will need more.  I know I have almost all the ones from 2Fast2Furious. 

Well, I just celebrated my birthday.  I am now 25! 
I got my first set of Samurai swords for my collection.  It is a set of 3.  They're pretty cool.  My wife gave them to me.  She has good taste.  I am going to set them up in my office, which is going to be an Asian theme.  Mike made me a scroll written in Japanese.  It's awesome.  He has talent.  He wrote "Christian Samurai" in Japanese. 
I also got my first power tool from my parents in law!  It's a drill.  My wife wants me prepared to hang pictures and such in our new home.
On the actual day of my birthday, which was Tuesday, my wife took me to see Van Helsing.  She won tickets to a sneak preview.  It was so cool to be one of the first people to see it.  My co-workers were mad at me.  It was so cool. 
The movie itself was pretty good.  I enjoyed it.
Then on Friday we celebrated with the families.  We went out to eat and my wife surprised me with cake! 
Anyways, all in all, I had a pretty good birthday.

So, last week I took another test for the Academy.  It was a polygraph test; I am pretty sure I passed.  It wasn't so bad - they asked a lot of weird questions.  Anyways, I am excited about this.  The class starts in September.
I had to go Downtown to take the test, so I parked my car outside.  While I was taking my test, it was 2 hours long, I got a parking ticket for a measely $5.00.  Can you believe it?  I was kind of upset, but I got over it.  I had put quarteres in the meter for only 1:30 hours, and it tool longer than I thought.  Anyways, from now on, I will always put an extra .25 in the meter; no matter what!

Today was a hard day!  I had to run an "obstacle" course.  It was the first test for me to start the class for the Reserve Academy.  I had to do everything within 90 seconds, and I did it in 57 secs.  It was tough, but I had a goal in mind, and I reached it. 
I had to run, carry a 175 lbs dummy, go up a few steps, down a few steps, pick up a 75 lbs dumbell, put it on a table, go over a ditch, and through pine trees and cones; all in 57 seconds.  Sounds easy, but it wasn't.  Needless to say, I am exhausted!
But it's worth it.  I want to make my dream of being a Police Officer come true!  As I said before, I want to start out as a Reserve, because my wife is uncomfortable with the idea of me being a cop; so she needs time to get adjusted! 
My class will start in September...  I am excited, and I can't wait.

I am a busy person, and never have much time to come here and post.
I like to get home and relax by watching some TV and spending time with my wife and daughter (Ellie).
So, from now on, I will try to post more often; but if I don't, you'll know it's because I am busy.
I have these few days off from work.  Damissus and I took a couple of says off for our anniversary, so we could spend some time together.  We went to Universal Studios yesterday.  It was a lot of fun!  We really enjoyed it.  So, now we are just kicking back and relaxing!
